This was my late grandmother’s favorite dessert. She had a sweet tooth and was an excellent cook at the same time.
And this recipe is so simple and delicious, and it is also intended for absolute beginners in cooking.
Ingredients:
- 2-3 eggs
- 1,5 l milk
- flour
- salt
- oil
- ground nuts
- honey
- cinnamon(or other spice as desired)
Preparation time: approx. 45 min
First, you need to make pancakes from flour, eggs, milk, oil and a pinch of salt. I have always used more eggs than for ordinary pancakes to prevent the dough from falling apart when dumped in milk. Feel free to make them thicker than usual.
When making the pancakes, turn on the oven at 200 degrees and fill them as follows: sprinkle 2 tablespoons of ground nuts, a tablespoon of honey and a little cinnamon or cocoa each. Roll them up and put them in a deeper bowl. Pour over the remaining milk and bake for about 15 minutes.
You can also set the amount of honey and nuts to your taste. Bon Appetit!
