If you would like to eat healthily but you love to eat pate, this is a healthy substitute for the one from the shop. It is made from chicken breast, so it comes in handy if you have leftovers from roast chicken or soup.
I use a blender or chopper for this recipe. This is a very useful appliance in the kitchen, so I think it’s worth investing in one. It doesn’t have to be expensive, not even the most famous brand. I use a small chopper as it is easier to wash.
Ingredients:
- 200g of chicken breasts
- 80g of roasted peanuts
- 1 cup of yogurt
- 2-3 spoons of olive oil
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- spices (salt, pepper etc.)
Preparation time: about 5 minutes (if you are using already cooked or roasted chicken)
Cook the chicken breasts (or process them in some other way). Divide the meat into larger pieces and insert them into a blender or chopper. Toss garlic, yogurt cup, peanuts, about 3 tablespoons of olive oil and season as desired. If you are worried that you won’t be able to grind everything together, insert ingredients one by one until everything is chopped. Turn on the blender/chopper and wait for everything to turn into a slurry. Spread it on toast or regular bread. Bon appetit!
